Boardwalk Expansion Project

Phase 2

The Town of Ocean City and the non-profit Ocean City Museum Society are launching a project to expand access by extending the Boardwalk around the historic 1891 Life-Saving Station. This destination will offer panoramic views and become a vibrant hub for residents and visitors. The first phase is expected to be completed in the 2027 season.

The next chapter of the Ocean City L.S.S. Museum is just around the corner, and we have incredible things planned for Phase 2 starting in 2028. From interactive displays and dynamic educational programs to amazing new exhibits and public artwork, this expansion will bring our history to life like never before.

For generations, our museum has stood as a beacon at the end of the Boardwalk, welcoming millions of visitors eager to discover Ocean City’s rich heritage.
