Adam L. Showell Jr., born in 1990 to Adam Showell Sr. and Jamelle Showell, graduated Worcester Preparatory School in 2008. He went on to study Computer Science at the University of Miami before transferring to Unibe in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic for three years.

He returned to Miami with his wife, Leticia, and graduated from Florida International University with a bachelor’s in International Business and Marketing. They worked side by side at the Castle in the Sand, first built by his Grandparents, John and Ann Showell, in 1960. Adam worked his way through the company starting as a groundskeeper.

He is currently serving as the GM and VP of the Castle in the Sand Inc., which is comprised of The Castle in the Sand, Coconuts Beach Bar and Grill, and the Barefoot Mailman Hotel. Adam and Leticia married in 2014 and have two wonderful boys together, John and Max. In their spare time, they enjoy traveling, time at the beach, and boating on the bay.
