Information in this record:
. March 1827 William Whittington, Esquire, lately deceased was indebted to Isaac P. Smith for a large sum of money as he was to others. He had a considerable estate. William died intestate having the following children as heirs at law: William W. Whittington, Charlotte, Robert H. and John R. Whittington minors. (William Whittington did owe a lot of money.) Isaac P. Smith adm. of his estate, John C. Handy guardian to the minors.
