23 Jan. 1981 Raymond S. Quillin. Funeral services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Burbage Funeral Home, Berlin, for Raymond Samuel Quillin, 69, of Ocean City. He died Saturday in the Berlin Nursing Home of arthritic complications. The Rev. Robert Harris will officiate. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Berlin.
Born in Berlin, he was a son of Lillie Ellis Quillin, Berlin and the late Raymond T. Quillin. He was former owner and operator of movie theaters in Berlin and Selbyville and he also formerly owned a motel in Ocean City.
Quillin was a member here of Atlantic United Methodist Church and its board of trustees. He was a past president of the Berlin Lions Club and was a member of the Bishopville Odd Fellows Lodge.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Electra Brasure Quillin; two sons, Raymond T. Quillin, III, Annapolis, and Jennings B. Quillin of Ocean City; four grandchildren; two sisters, Virginia Q. Richardson and June Q. Gnann, Ocean City and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Contributions may be made in the memory of the deceased to the Atlantic Methodist Church, Ocean City, Maryland 21842.
