Graveside services were to be held Wednesday in St. Paul's Episcopal Church yard in Berlin for Sarah M. Purnell, 81, of Herrying Crek, near Ocean City, who died Monday in the Mape Grove Convalescent Home in Millsboro after a long illness. Born here, she was the daughter of the late Samuel J. and Minnie Purnell Massey. She and her husband, Harlan R. Perdue, for 41 years owned the Harlan R. Perdue and Sons Drugs and Sundries on Baltimore Avenue here. Surviving, in addition to her husband, is a son Samuel R. Coffin of Ocean City. The Rev. Donald Horning was to officiate.
