Chancery Court Date: 10/23/1828

Information in this record:
23 October 1828 John C. Maddox was the only child of Daniel Maddox. John Handy guardian. Maddox had a food and beverage bill with Zadock Long of Somerset totaling 767 pounds, owed 106 pounds on the balance. Billing included meals, horse food, alcoholic beverages; toddy's, grog, slings, beer, drams of g.d., cider, a gin twist, brandy and punch. Apparently Zadock owned an inn or tavern.
