Mrs. Isaac J. Handcock (nee Robinson)

Obituary Date: 1/9/1903

Information in this record:
Mrs. Isaac J. Handcock died at the home of her husband, near George's Island Landing, on Friday, January 9th, of heart failure, super-induced by pneumonia, after an illness of only ten days. She leaves a husband, Isaac J. hancock, a successful oyster planter, and two boys Isaac Milton Handcock and Howard Handcock, aged respectively eight and ten to mourn their loss. Mrs. Handcock was the youngest daughter of Mr. & Mrs. William Robinson, who reside near Stockton, and was 331 years of age at the time of her death. Mrs. Handcock was not a professing Christian, but her life was full of acts of loving kindness and Christian charity, and before her death she gave testimony of her belief in the love of Christ, and of faith in His saving power. Interment was in Portersville M. P. Church Cemetery. DM
