Godfrey, Mary (nee Wimbrow)
died at the home of her husband, Mr. Robert Godfrey, in Millsboro, Delaware, last Friday. The deceased suffered a stroke of paralysis about a year ago, since which time she had been in declining health. The immediate cause of her death an attack of bilious dysentery. Mrs. Godfrey was the daughter of the late Peter Wimbrow of Wicomico County. She was married to Mr. Godfrey more than fifty years ago. They lived for a long time in Colbourne's District, near Piney Grove, and are well remembered by the old residents of that section. Mr. Godfrey is survived by her husband, and the following children. Mrs. William T. Parsons, of Indiantown, Mrs. John W. Gordy of Snow Hill, Mrs. Uriah W. Dickerson, of Salisbury, Mrs. Levin Nichols of Millsboro, Mrs. John M. Moore of Showell, Mrs. Mitchell Murray, Mrs. N. Russell and Messrs. Charles and Harley Godfrey. Interment was made in the M. E. Cemetery, Millsboro. The seven daughters of the deceased, together with their husbands, attended the funeral. 2 July 1910 DM
