Chancery Court Date: 9/29/1826

Information in this record:
29 September 1826. Isaac Birddle / Burdell verses Esther Evans, Martha Evans, Eliza Evans and Henrietta Evans. That on 4 July 1816 a certain Rev. Charles Wallace purchased of Isaac I Evans, Hetty Stevenson, Polly Evans, Anlana Evans and John Evans the farm where on Peter E. Evans and John Evans formerly lived called Mt. Pleasant and all other tracts or parts of a tract Peter Evans died seized of and that Isaac J. Evnas, Hetty Stevenson, Polly Evans, Andaria and John Evans conveyed to said Wallace. That Wallace sold said lands to Martha Franklin and that Martha devised said lands to Henry Franklin Jr. on condition he pay $3,000 balance due on purchase price. That Henry Franklin paid the $3,000 which was due to said Isaac. That Henry Franklin sold to your orator (Isaac Birdell). That Birdell is free of all obligation except bond to Isaac P. Evans who is dead leaving the following children: Esther, Martha, Eliza and Henrietta Evans his heirs at law all minors.
