Henry Cropper

Information in this record:
Henry Cropper, Shoemaker sold for 260 pounds, 110 acres to John Bradford, Planter. Whereas Nathaniel Cropper, late, did in his last will and testament did give and bequeath to his son Bela Cropper all his land northward of his son Noble Cropper's land, then at his son Bela's death the said land to go to his grandson Henry Cropper, and whereas the said Bela Cropper before he moved to the back settlements (Kentucky), by deed dated 25 Feb. 1789, did sell to Reuben Cropper all his right of and in said land and that Reuben Cropper did convey to Henry Cropper, excepting part of land lying on the north side of the road leading from Sinepuxent Bridge up the neck to Hill's. These lands part of PROVIDENCE, granted to William Massey on 10 May ____, for 125 acres, was re-surveyed by Nathaniel Cropper. Land Records of Worcester County, Md. Book O, pg. 513.
