Information in this record:
25 October 1816. That a Tephaniel?Nathaniel? Benson has departed this life the following persons his heirs at law: Nancy Davis, Benjamin Davis, Polly Davis, Stephen Townsend, Esther Townsend, Esther Henderson, Harriett Henderson, Sally Redden, Levin Redden, James Redden, William Redden, Edward Young and Maria Young. That Benson was indebted to Joseph Young in the sum of $399. That Joseph Young was named adm. of Tephaniel Benson. That Joseph Young died. That Sally, Levin, James and William Redden live out of the State of Maryland. Benson's will: my son in law James Redden, my hand mill, my negro man Major free, my son Levin Benson $1, my son in law Joseph Young $80, to my daughter's children, except Polly Brittingham's children, the residue of my estate share and share alike. My son in law Joseph Young EX. 18 Sept 1810w. 9 October 1810p. That Samuel Brittingham of Purnell was the highest bidder.
