Horace Baker

Obituary Date: 7/25/1903

Information in this record:
who resided near Whaleysville, was killed by the Ocean City Express on the Baltimore, Chesapeake and Atlantic Railway, Tuesday night near the Pocomoke River bridge on the Worcester County side. It is stated that Baker was seen about dark in an intoxicated condition making his way along the track. It is supposed he lay down and fell asleep. The body was horribly cut up by the train. An inquest held Wednesday morning exonerated the railroad company from blame.
