Information in this record:
James Bacon 8 April 1800w. 10 December 1803p.
(Eldest son of William Bacon, late of City of London) To my mother (name unknown), one-half of track of land called Addition to Chuckatuck, land purchased of John Cottingham and Daniel Cottingham. After death to brother William Bacon, the EX., and one-half of aforesaid land 509 acres and saw and grist mill. Brother John Court Bacon, the EX. To brothers William Bacon, John Court and Anthony Bacon, all rights to estate in Dismal Swamp (Dismal Swamp said to be landed property in Virginia) from the will of Uncle Anthony Bacon. Sister Harriet Bacon. To my uncle William Handy and aunt Elizabeth Handy, cousins Thomas Handy, James Handy, Comfort Handy, Joice Handy and friends Samuel Handy, John Curtis Handy and William Whittingham, notes due to me from Severn Johnson and John Handy. Wit; William Whittington, John Cottingham and Lemuel Selby. JBR 110.
