Information in this record:
Levi Henderson and Esau Boston commissioners to view and value the estate of John, Susan and Sarah D. Adams, minor in the care of Henry Adams, their Guardian.
The Report...Three fourths of two hundred acres of land or there about, half of which in our estimation is in woods and three or four acres of cut down ground enclosed with the cleared land and we in our judgment think would be an advantage to the minors to be cleared we also judge the annual value of the said three fourths of said land to be fifty six dollars and twenty five cents allowing one half of the said cleared land to be tended in Indian corn or tobacco and the same to be sowed in oats and other small grains and the improvements are as follows: one brick dwelling house one story 38 by 20 in sorry repair, one cider house round cypress logs with a pine board cover, 16 by 16--one barn 16 by 20 sawed gum logs with a plank cover, one corn stack round pine logs with a pine board over 13 by 6 one old hen house 10 by 10 very sorry, a pale garden of eighty feet square in bad condition, 1638 panels of fencing ever aging seven logs high, 194 apple trees, 718 peach trees, 4 pear trees, 10 cherry trees, 6 quince trees, all of which we adjudge as baring trees and we do further certify that the above to be a true and full return of the real estate of the said minors. 1 April 1808.
