International Museum Day - May 18, 2011
Museums and Memories
Even though the day started off with rain, the event was well attended and visitors were not deterred. The theme of the day was Museums and Memories. Visitors were encouraged to share their memories of Ocean City. A great time was had by all. Here are a few shots of some of our many visitors. Board Members Bob Stevens and Janet Cherrix were on hand to share stories of the Life-Saving Service and memories of Ocean City.

Marilyn and Michael Waring of Carneys Point, NJ were glad to visit the Museum for the first time during their vacation

Harriette Creter and Carol Neal of Berlin, MD pondered vacation ideas at the Sands of the World Exhibit

Audra & Steve Cotharn of York, PA were impressed with Big Boy, the sheepshead (lower right corner) in the Aquarium Room

Emily Neville of Berlin spent some time at the Life-Saving Service exhibit

Frankie & Ella Mae Barnes from Atlanta, GA were creating new memories of their own on their first visit to Ocean City,MD

Helen Wapinski, Priscilla & Jim Priest from New Jersey spent some time touring the Museum during the Open House.
